These beans have no investment value, no resale market, and no expectation of return. This is not a security, not a token, not a cryptocurrency, and not advice. Paid beans are mechanically identical to free beans — all paid revenue is donated to charity. The joke is that we're honest about it.

Digital Magic Beans is a parody of cryptocurrency culture. Real cryptos dress up worthless tokens as serious finance, and burn money into electricity and speculation. Here, we skip the pretence: your beans are explicitly worthless, you grow them into unique procedural beanstalks, and any real money paid for beans is burned by being donated to actual charities.

Each bean is unique, generated from a strand of procedural DNA that determines the shape, palette, and character of the beanstalk it becomes. Beans have rarity tiers — Common through Mythic — but tier is a difficulty setting, not a ceiling. A humble Common bean, tended with patience, can reach the same heights as a Mythic.

Planting consumes the bean. What remains is a beanstalk. No breeding, no offspring, no get-rich-quick. Just you, your garden, and a collection of completely, deliberately, proudly pointless beanstalks.
